CHARLIE the Dog needs a home

Charlie is an active 11 year old who loves attention, loves to go for walks, loves to ride in the car and will be your best friend! You would never guess he is 11, he has the energy of a puppy! Charlie is good with other calm dogs and he likes cats but due to some resource guarding Charlie needs to be placed as an only dog with an experienced basset hound owner. He is a happy dog that has been with Tri State in foster care for a very long time and we are just not sure why! In the right home Charlie will make a wonderful pet. 




Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescued Basset Hound!  We ask all potential adopters to complete our application and approval process first so we can discuss the dogs that fit your home.  We usually have 25 - 35 dogs available and the ages range from less than year old to ten plus years old.  Once we receive your application you'll be contacted by an adoption representative to complete the application process.  We look forward to speaking with you about our wonderful hounds waiting for forever homes!!!
